After religiously keeping records of every client for years, filling a number of notebooks with the thousands of entries with no one ever asking about them I wonder how necessary they are? There are reports of some JP's having to appear in court over some work they did but these occurrences are apparently very rare and even then aren't our signatures and stamps sufficient evidence of our actions? Nowadays the only records I keep are statistics of the number of clients and the type of service I perform, e.g. declaration, affidavit, witness etc. Even then no one has ever asked about them. Any comments?
